These clinics are designed to introduce players to baseball.  More details coming soon.

Pitch & Catch Training

These drop-in training sessions aim to help build skill and confidence in players with aspirations to pitch and catch in baseball. The training is only available for players born in 2008 or 2009 who are entering their 1st or 2nd year of pitching in baseball.  Training is provided by Tier 2 Coaches.

Players do not need to be registered with house league to participate in these session and as a result this can be an opportunity for players to try pitching and catching.  No baseball experience is required, all players are welcome.

Session Details:

Dates:  Feb 10, Feb 17, Feb 24 and Mar 3 (2019)

Time: 4-6 pm

Location: RIM Fieldhouse

Cost:  $5 per player (cash only)

Registration: Drop-in only (first come, first serve)

Coach Training

These sessions are for coaches interested in developing their coaching skills through observing and participating in rep baseball training sessions. Email director.kmba@gmail.com or kschil2564@rogers.com to register.

Training Details:

SESSION 1

Dates:  Mondays, 6-8pm, Jan 21- April 8, 2019

Duration: 12-week program but coaches can register for as few as 1 session

Availability:  2 coaches per evening can participate, unlimited observers

Location: Playball Academy (10 Executive Place, KIT)

Cost:  Free

SESSION 2

Dates: Wednesdays, 5:30-7:30pm, January 23 - April 10, 2019

Duration: 12-week program but coaches can register for as few as 1 session

Availability:  2 coaches per evening, unlimited observers

Pre-Season Player Training

(For players from Kitchener, Breslau, Mannheim, Maryhill, New Dundee, Roseville or Plattsville)

As part of the KMBA Panthers Training program, house league players who live in the Kitchener-are offered a pre-season training clinic. This Spring training is a chance for house league players to work out the winter rust with small group, station-to-station drills. The 5-week training will be delivered by Blue Chip Sports instructors, KMBA rep coaches with support from Bantam Panther and other senior players.

This program provides an opportunity to go back to the basics of fundamentals, essential for the upcoming house league season.  Training will include proper throwing, catching, hitting and base running.

Kitchener Select program coaches will be attending these sessions as they look to build their post house-league season rosters.

Training Details:

Session Dates: March 30 - April 27, 2019 (Saturdays; 5 weeks)

2 Session Times: 2:30-4:30pm  or 4:30-6:00pm
