About the Program

Kitchener-Waterloo House League Baseball (KWHLB) is a partnership between the Kitchener Minor Baseball Association and the Waterloo Minor Baseball Association to offer house league programming. KWHLB is managed by a committee led by members who sit on the Kitchener Minor Baseball Association board or the Waterloo Minor Baseball board. Additional committee members support the growth and success of the league through their skills and experience.

KWHLB oversees recreational (house league) baseball for youth who live in the Kitchener, Waterloo, and surrounding communities (Baden, Bloomingdale, Breslau, Elmira, Manheim, Maryhill, New Dundee, New Hamburg, Petersburg, Plattsville, Roseville, St. Jacobs, Wellesley, and Wilmot). Youth rep level baseball is overseen by the Waterloo Minor Baseball Association or the Kitchener Minor Baseball Association.

Our Divisions

The KWHLB program emphasizes participation, enjoyment and skill development for youth ages 4-19 years.  Our regular program ranges from our U8 program for 8 year -old players to our U19 program for players as old as 19 years of age. In addition, we have a 5U program (Fundamentals) for 4-5 year olds and a 7U program (T-Ball) for 6-7 year olds. The program recruits volunteer coaches and encourages fair play and training so that development can take place in an atmosphere that encourages involvement. Divisions are formed to ensure players compete against kids their own age.  Please visit our Frequently Asked Questions or our Divisions Information pages to learn more.
